What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We group ours into two categories and ask for your consent before using anything that is not strictly necessary, in line with the EU ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)) and the GDPR.
Strictly necessary (no consent needed)
Required for the site to work — your consent preference itself, session/authentication for staff, and basic security. These never track you across sites and cannot be switched off.
Analytics (consent required, off by default)
If you opt in, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic and improve the site. We anonymize your IP address and disable ad-personalization signals. No analytics script loads until you grant consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguish users | up to 2 years | |
| _ga_* | Session state | up to 2 years | |
| hvhi_cookie_consent | This site | Remember your choice (necessary) | until you change it |
Manage or withdraw consent
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using (also linked in the footer). Withdrawing is as easy as granting. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
